We apply the Classic Clean by default but we tailor our services based on the type of location and our clients’ specific priorities.

Our cleaning team is trained in infection prevention and holds certification from Clean Learning, a globally recognized, hospital standard certification program designed for the cleaning industry.

Clean Learning is based on healthcare best practices and focuses on essential skills such as:

• cleaning and disinfection practices

This certification is highly respected in healthcare settings, long-term care facilities, schools and other sectors, ensuring that our cleaning practices are aligned with the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

By holding this certification, our team is equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively manage cleaning tasks, particularly in environments where health and hygiene are critical.

In general, our rates start at:

• $45 per hour (plus GST) for residential services

• $50 per hour (plus GST) for commercial services

At The Cleaning Coop, we don’t compromise on our standards of employment or the quality of service we provide to our clients.

That’s why we’re lifting the curtain and showing you how our fees breakdown:

• 69% of hourly fees go to goes directly towards paying our workers' wages.
  As a living wage employer, we ensure our employees receive fair compensation, which supports a sustainable livelihood and reflects our commitment to non-exploitative practices.

• 10% is used to cover essentials.
  These are operating expenses such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), cleaning supplies, travel, insurance, and other overheads necessary to maintain our high standards of service and safety.

• 21% goes to covering the administrative and operational expenses related to managing a sustainable cooperative.
  This includes the behind the scenes administrative work like scheduling, communications, training, management, and ensuring compliance with our ethical standards. These expenses are critical to providing a high-quality service.
